Shane & Jacalyn

What an awesome wedding we had the privilege of being a part of yesterday! Shane & Jacalyn had us do the photography for their wedding day. We started the day off at Jacalyn’s place in Mt Lawley where all the girls.. and Jaclyn’s Dad, were busy getting ready, we had some great light to work with and some beautiful girls to photograph!

The ceremony was held in Eternity Christian Church at Morley, there was a great atmosphere as friends and family gathered to witness Shane & Jacalyn exchange vows & rings. After the ceremony we were spoiled for time and had photos in 3 different locations: East Perth, South Perth and then King Street in the City. It was the first time for me, shooting in East Perth & South Perth, they both turned out to be great locations, plenty of different areas and angles to work with. King Street is rapidly becoming a favorite of mine as there is always great light and something different to photograph.

The reception was held at the Parmelia Hilton.. what a great venue! The reception was a lot of fun and we found a nice courtyard to shoot the family photos in, just outside the reception venue.

We’d just like to say thank you to everyone involved for helping our part of the day go so smoothly and effortlessly, thank you Shane & Jacalyn for having us part of your special day!
