We headed into the very busy King Street for photos and bumped into several other weddings getting their photos there too! Afterwards we took photos at Gloucester Park and along the South Perth foreshore. Warren & Cally made their grand entrance to Dancing Queen by Abba. The whole day was a lot of fun!

Last weekend I photographed a beautiful country style wedding in Vasse, just outside of Busselton. I have been good friends with Mick, the groom, for a few years now, so when he approached me to be the photographer for his wedding, I felt very privileged. It was quite funny as well as Andrew Semark, my usual second photographer, was the best man for the wedding!

I started the day with the bride, her bridesmaids and parents at the resort they were getting ready in, from there we moved to the Vasse Hall for the ceremony. The look on Mick’s face when Cindy entered the building was absolutely priceless! It was a beautiful ceremony in a great hall full to the brim of family, friends and  handmade touches.

After the ceremony and family photos we headed off to Newtown House and Vasse Newtown for photos. While we were off having fun, the Vasse hall was quickly re-shuffled to host the reception! There were a lot of laughs and stories told at the reception and the food, which was all made by their families, was exceptional!

I want to say a huge thanks and congratulations to Mick & Cindy, hope you are having an absolute ball in Thailand. Looking forward to catching up when you get back, it was an honor to be part of your wedding.

Andrew and I photographed a beautiful wedding in Busselton last weekend. It was Andrew Semark‘s first time as lead photographer, I think he did an exceptional job! Although the day started out freezing we were really blessed with perfect weather for the day! It was a really fun day, with lots of laughs and we captured some great photos. After the reception we headed down to Wyadup to get a couple of photos at sunset, where we did some experimentation with a new technique.. I’m really happy with the results!

Thank you Ben and Fiona for having us be part of your wedding day, it was a privilege to be welcomed in by not only you both but also both your families.

Andrew and I photographed an amazing couple on Sunday, their wedding was held at the very picturesque St Michael’s Cathedral in Leederville, it was such a beautiful ceremony! James is the type of person who puts 100% into everything he does, no minor detail went over looked when it came to their wedding. We had perfect weather for the day so we stopped in a field on our way to Caversham House for some photos, I absolutely love the photos we created here.

The reception at Caversham House was exceptional, the service was great! Many laughs were had during the best man’s speech, before ending the celebration with some Greek dancing and a farewell! It was a great day that both Andrew and I really enjoyed!

Thank you not only to James and Leanne, but also to both families and their friends for having us be part of such a great wedding!

On Saturday Andrew and I photographed Nathan & Sarah’s wedding at the University of Western Australia’s Sunken Gardens, it’s such a nice venue for a wedding! At the end of the ceremony Nathan & Sarah each released a white dove to seal it all off. We were blessed with excellent weather for the wedding and did most of the photography around the UWA grounds. After a quick stop at Adachi Park we headed off to the reception at Guildford Landing, I’ve got to say, the service there was exceptional!

On the weekend Andrew Semark and I photographed a beautiful wedding here in Perth. The day started out at the bride and grooms respective places,  when I arrived in the morning, the place was buzzing with activity and everyone was excited! Megan and her bridesmaids all looked stunning and the guys scrubbed up alright too. The wedding ceremony was held in St. Mary’s in Leederville, it is a great cathedral with loads of beautiful, natural light. We then went to Hyde Park and Trigg Beach for our location session before heading on over to The Breakwater at Hilary’s Boat Harbour for the reception.

Thank you Megan & Andy for having us been part of your wedding day, both Andrew and myself had a great time, the bridal party was a lot of fun to work with! Feel free to share this video with your friends and family!

On Saturday, 9th April, we had the privilege of being a part of Alana & James’ wedding day. It was such a fun day, with many special moments shared. The day couldn’t have started off any further apart, with the guys getting ready in Clarkson, while the girls were getting ready in Thornlie. Alana and James started at opposite ends of Perth and then ended up meeting up at the beautiful park ceremony in Subiaco Common in front of many friends and family.

After the ceremony, which included a reading of Dr Seuss’ Oh the Places You’ll Go (a first for us for sure), we headed into Fremantle and captured some beautiful moments with the couple.. and some fun shots of the entire bridal party. It’s always great when you have such a relaxed bridal party, as it allows us to just do what we do and to really enjoy the day!

The day finished up at City West Receptions, after a quick stop at a special little park in Mossman Park for some extra photos. Such an amazing day, filled with lots of love and laughter.

I would like to say thank you not only to Alana and James for having us be part of your special day, but also a huge thank you to both their families and the wedding party for making it such a great day!

Last weekend Andrew Semark and I photographed Pam & Scott’s wedding at Heathcote.. it was a great wedding, a very casual & intimate wedding between them and their friends. We had a great time and got some excellent photos (in my own opinion).

We photographed an amazing wedding yesterday, Ally had gone to so much effort on all the little details, from the personalised coat hangers through to the ribbon holding the flowers together. It was a great day with everything running smoothly!
